Super Chocolate Cake

The Super Chocolate Cake is a special sweet. It’s very easy to prepare. Chocolate lovers can’t miss this recipe!

I baked it for breakfast, but with some ice cream it is perfect as dessert!

Super Chocolate Cake

Ingredients (for a cake pan of 22 cm diameter):

  • 250 g of ricotta cheese;
  • 220 g of sugar;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 80 g of flour;
  • 150 g of melted dark chocolate;
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder;
  • 16 g of baking powder;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • icing sugar/cocoa powder a.r..

Preparing the Super Chocolate Cake

Preheat the oven at 180° C. Grease and flour the cake pan, keep it aside.

Mix ricotta cheese with sugar. Add the eggs and combine them with electric whisk.

Sift the flour with the baking powder, vanilla and salt. Add these powders into the mixture prepare before.

Add the melted chocolate (lukewarm) and combine it. Beat until all the ingredients are combined.

Pour the dough obtained into the cake pan kept aside.

Bake the cake for about 30 minutes.

Take out of the oven the Super Chocolate Cake and let it cool before covering with icing sugar and/or cocoa powder.

The Super Chocolate Cake is now ready and waiting to be eaten!
