Chocolate Pudding is a very easy to prepare sweet but really delicious! A creamy chocolate heap, perfect for every moment of the day.
Chocolate Pudding is one of the most famous milk puddings and custards. It is very simple to prepare, and it is much tastier and healthier than the pre-made ones.
We can serve it like dessert at the end of the meal or like a snack. For the greedier people we can serve it matched by some whipped cream or fresh fruit.
We can prepare it in advance and then store it in the fridge covered with cling film up to moment we will serve it. In this way the puddings will conserve their taste and flavour.
- 500 ml of milk;
- 200 g of chocolate of the preferred flavour;
- 50 g of flour;
- 100 g of sugar;
- 90 g of butter.
Preparing the Chocolate Pudding
Chop the chocolate in pieces.
Warm the milk in a small pan at low heat.
In another pan, melt the butter at low heat. Add the sugar and stir it.
Add the chocolate chopped before and stir using a whisk until it melts.
Add the sifted flour, stirring to avoid the formation of some clumps.
When the flour is incorporated into the cream chocolate, pour all the hot milk in.
Continue to stir, until a clot cream is obtained.
Note: We can season the chocolate pudding with some flavour as needed: vanilla, almond, orange, rum… It depends on our taste!
When the cream starts boiling, continue to stir for about two minutes. Then turn the heat off .
Pour the Chocolate Pudding in single portion moulds.
Note: We can realize a big pudding using only one bigger mould, it depends on our needs. I think that the single portions are very handy and more elegant!
Let it slightly cool at room temperature before moving the puddings into the fridge to completely cool.
Turn each Chocolate Pudding out onto a dish and garnish with some fresh fruits or whipped cream.
