Preparing the Black Forest Sweets
Preheat the oven at 170° C.
Beat the butter with the sugar until a soft cream is obtained. Add the egg and combine it with electric whisk.
Sift the flour with the baking powder, the cocoa, the vanilla and the salt.
Add the powders into the mixture prepared before, few at time, alternating with the milk until a smooth and uniform dough is obtained.
Grease 2 whoopie pans with butter. Coat them with flour. Pour into the hole the chocolate dough.
Bake for about 15 minutes. Once baking time is off, take out and set them aside to cool.
Shouldn’t you have this type of pan, you can use the muffins cups. In this case, the cups shall be stuffed by half. Once cooked and cooled down, we will cut them in two pieces.
Whip the cream with about 2 tablespoon of icing sugar: you can arrange at will.
Wet the sweets base with the Maraschino liquor or cherry syrup. Cover them whit whipped cream and some cherry slices. Close sweets like sandwiches.
Garnish with a dollop of cream, a cherry and chocolate like nutella or chocolate flakes, at will.
